Manu Jungle Lodge

- Offering 24 reviews of Manu Wildlife Centre in Manu National Park
Manu Jungle Lodge
The Manu Jungle Lodge aka Manu Wildlife Center is located in a private rainforest reserve in the Amarakaeri Reserved Zone of the Manu lowlands. From the jungle lodge, you are a ninety minute walk from a tapir lick and a half hour boat ride away from the macaw lick. The Manu Wildlife Center is 45 minutes by air and a further 90 minutes by river from Cusco.

Jungle Lodge Construction
The Manu Jungle Lodge is constructed from ecologically sound cedar-driftwood salvaged from uprooted trees washed down river by the annual floods.

Accommodation
The lodge is comfortable, with roomy private bungalows equipped with en-suite facilities and tiled hot water showers. The lodge offers a place where you can charge batteries, check e-mail, or have a drink under the high thatched roof of the grandly spacious all-wooden dining hall, bar, and lounge.

Manu Wildlife
There are many wildlife attractions located within the vicinity of the lodge that we can visit, including:
The world’s largest tapir lick.
The most photogenic and accessible large macaw and parrot lick.
Miles of monkey-rich trails through mature rain forest.
Two 120-foot-tall (35-m) canopy platforms.
