Amazon Weddings

The Amazon Rainforest is the perfect destination for couples seeking a little more adventure or just something a little bit different. Surrounded by pristine forest and listening to the sounds of nature you will stay at National Geographic’s most reccommended lodge in the Peruvian Amazon, the Tahuayo Lodge, and celebrate your wedding. At the Tahuayo lodge, we have 16 bungalows to cater to Amazon weddings, with two designated honeymoon suites containing a king size bed.



On your stay in the Amazon, you will be assigned a private guide to enjoy the sights and sounds of the jungle at your own pace. You can swim in waters inhabited by pink dolphins, which often will come and investigate your presence in their aquatic world, canoe in wildlife rich waters and amongst the trees, or visit a native shaman so he may bless your union. You can also enjoy our native honeymoon fiesta complete with gifts, music, dancing, cake, etc. for no extra charge.



We can also do Amazon weddings or honeymoon in Peru’s Andes at Cusco/Machu Picchu, or combine this with the Amazon. Ask for a detailed itinerary.
