Peregrine Falcon
|

Peregrine falcons have a worldwide distribution and naturally range across Australia. They are usually seen in the air or perched upon prominent landmarks. Peregrine falcons feed predominantely on flocking birds like pigeons, starlings, and parrots, but they will also take birds as big as ibises and herons. Peregines are very acrobatic flyers and will sometimes taunt larger birds as if showing off their flying prowess.
