There are many different lodges and cruises in Amazonia that offer high quality guided tours. We have individually selected a handful of the best tours the Amazon region has to offer based on quality of staff, conservation ethic, and the surrounding biodiversity. Each tour offers something a little different to the rest:


Tahuayo Lodge


The Tahuayo Lodge is situated in the Amazon Rainforest 150 km from the city of Iquitos in north eastern Peru – offering private guides, custom designed itineraries, and a canopy zipline system.



Sunset on the Tucano

The Tucano Cruise operates in the central Amazon Rainforest from Manaus inĀ  Brazil – offering a comfortable 7 day cruise and guided tours of areas otherwise out of reach.



Heath River Wildlife Centre


The Heath River Wildlife Centre is the only lodge situated by the Heath River, which runs through the heart of the Tambopata-Madidi Reserve – offering visits to a nearby macaw clay lick and tours of the surrounding rainforest and savannah



Tambopata

The Sandoval Lake lodge is nestled deep within the Tambopata Reserve – offering programmes around the Sandoval Lake to see giant river otters and other inhabitants of the reserve.



Cock-of-the-Rock

The Cock-of-the-Rock Lodge is located on the slopes of the Andes in the Manu cloud forest – offering wildlife tours of cloud forest flora and fauna. The lodge is located next to the display ground of the national bird of Peru, the brightly coloured Cock-of-the-Rock.



Macaw Clay Lick

The Manu Wildlife Center is located in a private rainforest reserve in the Amarakaeri Reserved Zone of the Manu lowlands – offering a lodge only a ninety minute walk from a tapir lick and a half hour boat ride from a macaw lick.



Tapir

The Pantanal Wildlife Center is located on the Pixaim River in the Pantanal region of Brazil – offering tours of the Pantanal region on horseback, boat outings, trail walks, mobile observation towers, electric photo catamarans, as well as night spotlighting from our dedicated truck with special photo logistics.



Jaguar Resting

The Jaguar Research Center is located in the Jaguar park of the Pantanal – offering the world’s highest chance of seeing wild jaguar.
